The New Haven School District Board of Education officially approved the 2026-2027 School Calendar during its regular meeting on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.  

Calendar Highlights & Key Dates
First Day of School: Monday, August 24, 2026.
Labor Day Break: No School on Monday, September 7, 2026.
Thanksgiving Break: No School from Wednesday, November 25, through Friday, November 27, 2026.
Winter Break: The last day of the first semester is a half-day on December 22, 2026, with the break continuing through January 4, 2027.
Spring Break: Scheduled for late March 2027, from Thursday, March 25, through Monday, March 29.
Last Day of School: A half-day on May 18, 2027.
