Future Business Leaders of America

FBLA's mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.  The goals of FBLA include:

  • developing competent business leadership
  • strengthening the confidence of students in themselves and their work
  • creating more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise
  • encouraging individuals through the development of individual projects
  • developing character and preparing for useful citizenship
  • encouraging and practicing efficient money management
  • encouraging scholarship
  • promoting school loyalty
  • assisting students in the establishment of occupational goals
  • facilitating the transition from school to work.

FBLA members take time between workshops and competitions for a photo with the Traveling Trophy; the 1st Place Trophy has found a home at New Haven High School for the 2nd year in a row.  The District 2 Leadership Conference was held on the campus of Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO.
